Our individual donors invest in the future of Scottish theatre. They support new ways of reaching wider to share our work, breaking down barriers which may prevent participation in the arts and nurturing Scotland’s creative talent enabling them to tell the stories that need to be told.
When Covid-19 shut theatres down last year, the National Theatre of Scotland pivoted quickly to create work that fuses theatre with film and digital distribution. Our new digital platforms have enabled us to reach a much wider audience near and far.
But there is so much more we wish to do, particularly in these times of great uncertainty. We want to explore innovative ways to create theatre and share live experiences with audiences, and develop more ways to nurture and encourage artists and theatre makers across Scotland as our industry adapts to new approaches.
Our Individual Donors help us in our efforts to achieve these ambitions now - during the pandemic crisis - and in the future, whatever that may bring.
We are hugely grateful for their support which helps us to sustain and develop Scottish theatre for all.
