Trolleydarity Scratch n Sniff Staycations for the Discerning Static Traveller by Shona Reppe and Alan Grieve
Imagine a journey where you don’t need to pack your suitcase, rush to catch a plane or even leave your bed. A journey where your senses transport you while you stay exactly where you are.
Trolleydarity presents a unique and fragrantly immersive experience that redefines the idea of travel. Combining specially curated soundscapes with the latest Scratch and Sniff technology, artists Shona Reppe and Alan Grieve invite you to embark on a sensory micro adventure unlike any other.
Created for patients at Western General Hospital, Edinburgh, this brand new project transforms the everyday into the extraordinary, from the scent of a luxurious spa to the sound of crisp snow underfoot, all brought to life through the magic of sound and smell.
So stay where you are, close your eyes, scratch, sniff and go!
Trolleydarity, it’s a breath of fresh air, brought to you by trolley.
Launching at Western General Hospital, Edinburgh in November 2025.
