Autism Friendly and Chilled

We aim for all performances of Dracula: Mina's Reckoning to be Autism Friendly and neurodivergent audience members are welcome at all of our performances. A visual guide to the venue and performance will be available to download in advance and will be available from box office at the venue. A chill out space will be provided at all venues where space allows.

A Chilled Performance

A chilled performance will have a supported FOH experience, and takes a more casual approach to noise and movement in the auditorium, but the performance itself is unchanged. This performance is ideal for people who may find the usual FOH experience stressful, are keen to be aware of the content of the production in advance and are more at ease knowing they can go in and out of the auditorium during the show. This performance is for everybody and babes in arms are welcome (not walking or requiring their own seat).

At the Dracula chilled performance we will:

Provide a chill out space at the venue

Provide a sensory kit (ear defenders, ear plugs, dark glasses) for anyone to use if needed

Provide a visual guide to the venue and the performance

Provide a familiarisation video about the cast and performance

Open the house early (half an hour)

Provide an easily identifiable FOH team member(s) who will be the point of contact for any questions

Chilled performances are at the following dates and times:

His Majesty's Theatre, Aberdeen: Sat 9 September, 2:30pm
Theatre Royal, Glasgow: Thu 14 September, 7:30pm
Macrobert Arts Centre, Stirling: Sat 23 September, 2:30pm
