Call Out for
Lee Jeans Factory Strikers

National Theatre of Scotland and Tron Theatre Company are producing a new show to tell the brilliant story of the Lee Jeans strike in 1981 and the women who led the occupation of the factory to fight for their jobs. We are looking for your help to connect with anyone involved in this historic strike.
Stand and Deliver: The Lee Jeans Sit In, is written by Frances Poet, from an idea by Frances and Inverclyde-raised journalist, Paul English, with the support of some of the original strikers, including Helen Monahan and Maggie Wallace.
National Theatre of Scotland and Tron Theatre Theatre Company want to acknowledge as many people as possible who took part in the original occupation, as part of the show and in the programme.
If you, or a member of your family was involved in the strike, please do fill in the form below – we will be in touch to confirm your details for our acknowledgements, and to let you know more about the show.
Stand and Deliver: The Lee Jeans Sit In is directed by Jemima Levick, and opens at the Tron Theatre in April then tours Scotland, arriving for a finale run at The Beacon in Greenock from Tue 9 to Wed 10 June.
