Steffan was born in London into a Welsh family and grew up in Cardiff. He trained at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama gaining a BA Hons Degree in Acting
Steffan started performing professionally from a young age with Welsh National Opera, music Theatre Wales, and tv work on BBC and S4C
