Alone

All four episodes available on demand now

Overview

All four episodes of Alone, the smash-hit series of short films from Scottish comedian and writer Janey Godley and director Cailtin Skinner are available on demand now.

With 2020 now finally over, Betty can look back on what has been quite a year.

Following the loss of her husband Jim early in the Covid-19 crisis, Betty was left facing lockdown alone. But with Jim’s grip on her life gone, she was free to reach out to those who really mattered to her: reconnecting with her beloved but estranged son Stephen, larger-than-life older sister Isa, and finally ringing in the new year by talking for the first time with her son’s boyfriend, Martin.

With 2020 behind her and a new chapter ahead, Betty can go into 2021 full of hope. And with adorable sausage dog Bobo always keeping her company by her side, she’s never entirely alone.
