Shilpa T-Hyland is a graduate from the MA in Classical and Contemporary Text at the Royal Conservatoire Scotland. Directing credits include: Miss Julie (Perth Theatre); The Dragon and the Whales (Modest Predicament); Atlas(Modest Predicament); Bubble (Royal Conservatoire of Scotland); Erin, Errol and The Earth Creatures (Modest Predicament); A Stranger Walks into a Bar(Scottish Storytelling Centre). Assistant and Trainee credits include: Crocodile Fever (Traverse Theatre); The 306: Dusk (Perth Theatre/National Theatre of Scotland); Pride and Prejudice*(*Sort of) (Blood of the Young/Tron Theatre); The 306: Day (Perth Theatre/ National Theatre of Scotland/Stellar Quines); AnythingThat Gives Off Light (The TEAM/National Theatre of Scotland). OTHER CREDITS Shilpa is one half of the company Modest Predicament. She directed Miss Julie as a recipient of the Cross Trust Young Director Award at Perth Theatre, and assistant directed Crocodile Fever as a recipient of the JMK regional bursary at the Traverse Theatre.
