Neil is a Glasgow based comedian, actor, writer, cartoonist and wrestling personality.
His TV acting credits include Scot Squad (Comedy Unit), Scotland In A Day (Channel 4/Comedy Unit), Sanjeev Kohli’s Big Talk and Rogue To Wrestler (BBC Scotland). His TV writing credits include Only An Excuse, Queen of the New Year, Breaking The News and The State Of It (BBC Scotland). Radio writing credits include Breaking The News (Radio Scotland), Sketchorama and Sketchtopia (Radio 4). He is a two time recipient of the Scottish Comedy Award for Best Writer.
Neil’s film credits include the upcoming British Film Institute production The Incomer, which was recently given the NEXT Innovator Award at The Sundance Film Festival.
As producer and host he developed Comedian Rap Battles for BBC iPlayer, as well as contributing regular content for their sketch strand Short Stuff; having amassed millions of views across his own channels with online persona The Wee Man.
Live theatre acting credits include a national tour of Singin’ I’m No a Billy He’s a Tim 2 (Des Dillon) with one date at the SEC Armadillo. He is a regular on The Stand Comedy Club’s Glasgow and Edinburgh Improv shows as well as with Insane Championship Wrestling including multiple shows at the OVO Hydro. His most recent theatre work was on the Ian Pattison play Mr & Mrs for the Edinburgh Fringe.
