Joanna is Associate Artist at the Citizens Theatre. She is a National Theatre Connections Mentor Director and a Creative Associate of Vanishing Point. She was Associate Director at the Tron Theatre between 2022 and 2025. She teaches and directs at a number of drama schools, including the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, and Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts. She trained at Birkbeck College, University of London.
