In 2024 Brian starred as Michael Rebus in the BBC reboot of Ian Rankin’s Rebus; his performance was nominated for Best Actor at the RTS Scotland Awards. Brian will be filming the next series of Rebus in the coming months. Other screen roles include a regular role in The Ipcress File for ITV, opposite Joe Cole and Tom Hollander; The Spanish Princess, Elizabeth is Missing and Shetland. Brian can also be seen in Dept Q for Netflix and more recently in The Dark for ITV. Brian has just finished filming series 2 of Rebus.
