Anne Tierney is pleased to be involved in the National Theatre of Scotland’s True Story competition. Anne teaches at Heriot-Watt University, where she has worked since 2019. She also volunteers at her local theatre, The Coach House Theatre in Alloa.

This is Anne’s first foray into playwriting and she is very much looking forward to the coming year and everything it brings. She always thought that her dad’s story was a good one but until the competition, didn’t know how to take it forward. This is such a unique opportunity and Anne intends to make the most of it.

Anne’s hobbies include knitting, cookery and singing Georgian polyphonic songs.
