Albrin is a self-taught writer who primarily works as an author, filmmaker and editor. His work spans tragedy, romantic comedy and historical drama, exploring themes of migration and identity. His anthology 'From Glasgow Without Love' examines identity and belonging between Glasgow and Nigeria and his award-winning short film 'Hadassah' won an international award for its portrayal of women’s empowerment. Albrin is also Shakespeare's biggest fan, and this has huge influence on his work for stage.
