A festival of new work and Scottish artists.
A two-day festival filled with live music, new performance, great food and provocative discussions. Just Start Here is taking over shop-fronts, working men’s clubs and the streets of Dumfries this February.
Part theatre, part gig, part party, Just Start Here is an opportunity for artists, audiences and communities to come together to encounter something new and just have fun.
During the afternoon, take part in discussions with artists across the sector, catch intimate performances, and get a free meal as part of Chow & Chat.
In the evening enjoy performances from Dumfriesshire based artists, experience new dance work from an award-winning choreographer or tuck into a 3-in-1 munchy box of real-life stories. Find this alongside DJ sets, pop-up performances and so much more.
A celebration, a party and a unique chance to see the artists and theatre-makers of today, Just Start Here is the beginning of something.
