Behind The Themes Online Audience Event for The 306 Trilogy Announced with Imperial War Museums

National Theatre of Scotland and Imperial War Museums will host an online conversation event and discussion, Behind The Themes | The 306 - Shot at Dawnreflecting on the tragedy of the 306 men shot for cowardice and desertion in WW1, and subsequently pardoned.

This exclusive event brings together leading artists, Oliver Emanuel and Gareth Williams, writer and composer of the National Theatre of Scotland’s First World War plays The 306 Trilogy and album of music Lost Light – Music from the 306. The artists will talk about their acclaimed trilogy of musical plays and album of music, and their many years of research.

Behind The Themes | The 306 - Shot at Dawn will take place online on Thursday 13 May at 5pm.

The 306 Trilogy was co-produced with Perth Theatre and co-commissioned by 14-18 NOW and released in three parts between 2016 and 2018: Dawn, Day, and Dusk. Lost Light is an album of music from The 306 Trilogy co-commissioned by 14-18 NOW, the UK’s arts programme for the First World War centenary. It is currently available on CD and download, as well as major music streaming services.

This event will run for 45 minutes and will be BSL interpreted and live captioned.
