Young people of Dundee – Join Us

Are you aged between 14 and 26? Come and make a film with Robbie Synge and Dundee born music video designer to the stars Hayley Scanlan.

National Theatre of Scotland and Back to Back Theatre (Australia) are looking for young people to participate in RADIAL – an exciting music and fashion film exploring diversity and opportunity.

Playfully re-imagining video art, dance, music and fashion, RADIAL is a collaborative film-making process that results in a portrait of a community in motion.

The workshops are great fun and run once a week on Tuesdays 3.30-6.30pm (except Tuesday 15 May which will run Thursday 17 May). Once you sign up we’ll let you know what city centre venue we’ll be rehearsing in.

The filming will take place on 5 – 8 June 2018.

Workshops will be led by Scottish choreographer Robbie Synge and fashion designer and stylist Hayley Scanlan (stylist of music videos including Little Mix).

No performance experience is necessary. All abilities welcome and the venues are fully accessible.

The premiere screening of the film will be in Dundee during the Futureproof Festival in October and you’ll be invited!

To participate you will need to
– Be available to meet 1 night per week in May
– Be available for filming between 5-8 June inclusive
– Be between the ages of 14-26
– Be ready to have fun and make a music video!
