Our mission is to create extraordinary, audacious, inventive theatre that represents the richness of contemporary Scotland and we’d love your support to help us achieve this.

Like us, our donors and supporters believe that the National Theatre of Scotland can have a significant positive impact on society, with a power to entertain, telling the stories that need to be told. We seek to represent the diversity of Scottish society by breaking down the barriers that prevent some people from participating in the arts together with fulfilling a responsibility to nurture Scotland’s creative talent.

If you'd like to be closer to the heart of what we do and how we do it, sharing the joy and delight, we'd be very grateful to have you join one of our Donor programmes. These range from £30 to £5,000 per year, details below on how to join. As a thank you, you'll receive a range of benefits, either for yourself or as a gift for someone else.

National Theatre of Scotland is a registered charity so by donating you play an integral part in supporting our work. We’re also eligible for Gift Aid, which enables us to claim an extra 25% from HMRC on your donation at no extra cost to you.

You can also join and donate via standing order or cheque.

Please note that for each level of individual donor support, a minimum payment (including VAT at the current rate) secures the associated benefits. Any additional payment you make is treated as a donation without encumbrance and qualifies for Gift Aid. The minimum payment to secure benefits for National Theatre of Scotland individual donor levels is as follows: Friends £10, Benefactors £50, Patrons and Artistic Director’s Circle £80.
