The Town is the Garden is a community food growing project begun in 2017. The project is run by two gardeners in residence and a green coordinator. It is part of Deveron Projects, an arts organisation based in Huntly, a market town in the north east of Scotland with a population of 4,500, which has worked there with the history, context and identity of the town since 1995. Working with the idea that the town is the venue, Deveron Projects create socially engaged projects that connect artists, communities and places.
