SHIFT is inviting YOU to submit your work-inspired photography to be part of the project. We plan to gather and create a comprehensive gallery of your photographs relating to the world of work.
We are looking for portraits, action shots, images of places and times that represent what work means to you. The subject matter could be reflective of the past or predicting what the future of work looks like. Images can be literal or abstract as long as it represents a personal visual viewpoint of work.
From December onwards SHIFT will showcase selections of the images submitted to support different aspects of this large scale project across North Lanarkshire. Images will form part of an online gallery on the SHIFT facebook page and also as part of multi-media installations across landscapes in North Lanarkshire in December. In February, we will again showcase selected works as part of an exhibition and pop up installations in the area. Some of the images may also form part of the visual imagery of the final show which takes place at the end of March 2018.
