About Victoria Balnaves
Victoria was brought up in Kinross, Scotland, and went on to train at Edinburgh’s Telford College for a year before going to drama school in Manchester for three years, graduating in 2001. Victoria is delighted to be making her debut with the National Theatre of Scotland. Other theatre work over the years includes various work at the Traverse, Tron and Brunton theatres, as well as performing in Engaged and The Government Inspector at Pitlochry Festival Theatre. Television work includes Shetland, Two Doors Down, Till Death Do Us Part, Trust Me, River City, Gary: Tank Commander, and Still Game. Victoria was awarded the Scottish Variety Award for Best New Scottish Actor in 2009.
