About Travis Reeves
Australian-born Travis Reeves emigrated to Scotland with his family in 1980, and studied painting and filmmaking at Edinburgh College of Art. As a filmmaker in his own right, he is the award-winning director of short films and the feature documentary Funny Kinda Guy. In his 15 years’ working in sound, he has been a sound effects editor and foley artist on drama, documentary, animation and feature films, and sound designer on short films and feature dramas. He has over 100 broadcast hours’ credits as a dubbing mixer on factual and arts television for the BBC and others.
He is visiting lecturer in post-production sound for the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland’s BA Filmmaking course.
