Raised on the Island of Islay, Tracy trained at The Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama. Theatre work includes - Angerbird directed by Lucy Bailey at Birmingham Rep, Crazy Horse for Paines Plough directed by Vicky Featherstone, Side by Side by Sondheim directed by David Kernan at The Stables and The Trick is to Keep Breathing directed by Michael Boyd at The Tron which then toured to Toronto and The Royal Court. Film work includes - Intrigo-Samaria, Wild Rose, Where is Anne Frank, Bronson and Swinging with the Finkels. Television work includes - Top Boy, Shetland, Manhunt, Holby City, Siblings, Eastenders, Outnumbered, Law & Order, Ashes to Ashes, Britz, The Line of Beauty, Doctors, Sea of Souls, Promoted to Glory, A Mug’s Game, All about George, The Bill and McCallum. Radio - Tracy won the Carleton Hobbs BBC Radio Drama Award & has recorded around 350 radio plays including playing and singing as Gracie Fields in the two part R4 drama, Gracie.
