About Skye Loneragan
Skye Loneragan is a writer/performer and theatre director whose work fuses performance poetry and physical theatre. She is currently researching the invisible ways in which we're connected through nano-plastics, curious about how we're becoming what it is we're trying to throw 'Away'. She is currently experimenting with juxtaposition, of epic with day-to-day, and how re-thinking the human can help transform a mutli-species eco-emergency. She is creator of q-poetics, (the poet and poetry in places and spaces of waiting- queues) which grew from her project in healthcare spaces: Making a Map of My Mistakes (ongoing). Her current solo show, Though This Be Madness, became Though This Be (online) Madness with SMAHF during Covid, and is due to tour the Scottish Highlands and Islands in 2022- thanks to support from Creative Scotland, she questions how we can nurture our collective sanity in a climate emergency context.
