Simon is a regular in the Scottish music scene, a multi-instrumentalist, forming and playing in numerous bands (Olympic Swimmers / Owl John) before joining Frightened Rabbit in 2013, touring extensively and releasing via Atlantic Records. 2018 saw his first venture into theatre; collaborating with Gary McNair on “McGonagall’s Chronicles”, before scoring "After the Cuts” and “Square Go” (Fringe First winner, and nominated for a Drama Desk Award) at the Edinburgh Fringe. Recent theatre work includes Henry Naylor’s “Games” (Arcola Theatre / Adelaide Fringe), “Whatever Happened to the Jaggy Nettles” (Citizens Theatre), “The Domestic” (NTS / Scenes for Survival), “Strange Rocks” (Mull Theatre).
