Poets for the Planet
About Poets for the Planet
Poets for the Planet is a community of kindred poets, performers, artists and creative activists raising their voices to engage with climate and ecological emergency through poetry in all its forms. Heat by Ian McLachlan and Let’s go back to nature by Sindiswa Zulu are poems commissioned by Poets for the Planet to form part of Earthsong, an ecopoetry collaboration between Poets for the Planet and Imperial College London consisting of 18 science-inspired poems in 12 different languages that was performed at the Great Exhibition Road Festival in South Kensington in October, and at COP26.
