About Neil Thomas
Neil Thomas graduated from Queen Margaret University College, Edinburgh, in 2006 with a BA in Acting.
Since graduating Neil has worked in theatre in the UK and internationally, touring regularly to the United States and Canada, playing in cities such as: West Palm Beach; Las Vegas; Calgary; Vancouver; Los Angeles and New York City. In the UK, Neil has appeared in many theatre productions over the past thirteen years, including various Scottish touring and Edinburgh Fringe shows.
As well as enjoying several runs with Edinburgh's Royal Lyceum Theatre Company, appearing in productions as diverse as ‘The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe’ and ‘A Midsummer Night's Dream’, Neil has also worked on productions at Dundee Rep and Oran Mor, amongst others.
Appearances in musicals include: ‘Company’; ‘Clinton The Musical’; ‘Little Shop of Horrors’ and the Visible Fictions/Scottish Opera co-production ‘Clockwork’, based on Philip Pullman’s acclaimed children’s novel.
Neil has performed in many Christmas shows and pantomimes over the years, at theatres including: The Tron, Glasgow; The Royal Lyceum, Edinburgh and The Websters Theatre, Glasgow.
Neil has contributed both on-screen and as a voice artist for television in the UK, and most recently appeared in Season 4 of the Sony/Starz TV show, ‘Outlander’.
Voice-over work includes a variety of independent animated films, voice work for websites and regular work for radio advertising and for the Royal Bank of Scotland. He also regularly sings in cabarets and musical theatre revue shows around Scotland, both in major theatres and for corporate events.
