About Martin Donaghy
Martin grew up in Banknock in Stirlingshire. He attended the musical theatre course at the Dance School of Scotland before going on to train at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland graduating with a BA in Acting.
His previous work with National Theatre of Scotland includes The Panopticon and Anything That Gives Off Light, an international co-production with The TEAM.
Other Theatre work includes: Refuge Cut The Chord/The Yard Theatre, Losing the Rag Oran Mor, 549: Scots of the Spanish Civil War Wonderfools, Rudolph Platform, Faithful Ruslan, The Story of a Guard Dog Belgrade Coventry/ Citizens Theatre, Ring Road Oran Mor /Traverse, Macbeth Southwark Playhouse, and A Midsummer Night’s Dream Bard in the Botanics, for the Citizens Theatre: Feverdream: Southside, Rum and Vodka, A Christmas Carol and Hamlet. Martin was also a recipient of the Citizens Theatre Christina Chalmers Award for Promising Newcomer.
