About Mamoru Iriguchi
Mamoru Iriguchi is an Edinburgh-based performance maker and theatre designer with a background in zoology. His performance work includes Eaten (Critics’ Awards for Theatre in Scotland nominee), The Tallest (Tate Early Years & Families commission), 4D Cinema (Autopsy Award), PAINKILLERS (The Yard NOW commission), One Man Show (The Place Prize commission) and Projector/Conjector (Aerowaves Spring Forward). He is currently working on two new performance projects, Sex Education Xplorers and What You See When Your Eyes Are Closed / What You Don’t See When Your Eyes Are Open. Mamoru’s theatre design work includes Mincemeat (Cardboard Citizens, Best Design, London Evening Standard Theatre Awards), The Pink Bits (Mapping4D, Oxford Samuel Beckett Theatre Award) and Love Song to Lavender Menace (The Lyceum).
