About Lynda Radley
Lynda Radley is a Cork-born Glasgow-based playwright, storyteller and dramaturg. Previous work for NTS includes the adaption of There is Someone Who Hates Us by Brazilian writer Michelle Ferreira (in association with A Play, A Pie and A Pint). Other theatre work includes: The Interference (Pepperdine Scotland), Happier or Better? (Royal Conservatoire of Scotland), Futureproof (Traverse Theatre in association with Dundee Rep), Birds and Other Things I Am Afraid Of (in association with The Arches and Poorboy), Berlin Love Tour, The Heights, The Art of Swimming, Soap! and Integrity (Playgroup). Radio work includes: Our Sentence (BBC Radio Scotland) and An Irish Airman Forsees His Death, part of Yeats: The Man and The Echo (BBC Radio 4). Lynda has received Fringe First Awards for Futureproof and The Interference; also shortlisted for The Amnesty International Freedom of Expression Award. Last year Lynda was one of seven writers selected to participate in the Scottish Film Talent Network’s Write4Film screenwriting initiative. She is a board member of Playwrights’ Studio Scotland.
