About Liam Hurley
Liam Hurley worked widely on creative engagement productions for National Theatre of Scotland from 2006 to 2010 - including Transform Orkney: Mixter Maxter ("...surely one of the best community arts projects Scotland has ever produced" -The Scotsman). He has since co-created theatre productions with communities in Hong Kong, Tanzania & Cornwall.
In recent years credits include dramaturgy on Karine Polwart's Wind Resistance (Royal Lyceum/ EIF) and co-writing Rowan Rheingans' Dispatches on the Red Dress for which he was awarded a Fringe First. As a certified somatic trauma specialist, Liam is currently applying trauma-informed perspectives to his theatre making.
