About Janette Foggo
Janette was born in Glasgow and graduated from RSAMD in 1976.
Over the years she has performed with most Scottish Theatre companies. Previously for National Theatre of Scotland on Men Should Weep. Other theatre work includes: Queen Lear and Coriolanus for Bard in The Botanics, Peter Arnott's two one woman plays Face: Morag and Face: Isobel at Oran Mor followed by Stephen Dick's Hot Water about an elderly woman stuck in the bath for 5 days. Career includes 2 Stints in London's West End Once A Catholic and Pack of Lies, National Tour of The Crucible and tours with Borderline, Solar Bear and Mull Theatre. The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie, Rebecca, Oedipus, To Kill a Mockingbird, The Steamie, The Breathing House at Edinburgh Lyceum; Hyde at Dundee, The Steamie at Pitlochry theatre and Steel Magnolias at Perth Rep. Sunset Song and The Silver Darlings for APA. MacBeth at Nottingham Playhouse, Talk of The Devil at Bristol Old Vic. Nationwide tour with Prospect Theatre Co. of King Lear and The Rivals. She worked with Michael Boyd at Sheffield Crucible on A Midsummer Night's Dream and Commedia. Then at The Tron in The Guid Sisters, Losing Alec, The Life and Times of Thomas Muir, The Funeral and Paddy's Market.
TV and film include: The Slab Boys, The Lost Tribe, The Silly Season, Eve Set The balls of Corruption Rolling, Dream Baby, Britannia Hospital, The Pirates of Penzance.
