About Jack Webb
Jack is an award-winning choreographer, movement director, dancer and teacher working across dance, theatre, opera and film. He is based in Edinburgh and has been working internationally for the past 16 years.
Recent movement direction credits include movement direction/choreography for L'etoile, an opera by Emmanuel Chabrier, directed by PJ Harris for the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, Fringe First winning Silkworm by Vlad Butucea for Pearlfisher, directed by Mojisola Elufowoju and for the CATS award winning I Am Tiger by Oliver Emmanuel for Perth Theatre and Imaginate, directed by Lu Lemp.
Jack's recent creation Sense of Centre, a solo dance work was part of the Made in Scotland showcase at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2022 and was nominated for a Scotsman Mental Health Fringe Award.
Jack is a movement/physical performance lecturer at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and he sits on the board of trustees of Edinburgh based charity Heart and Minds.
