About Harrison Knights
Harrison Knights is an actor, musician, musical director and artistic director. He identifies as a man who happens to be trans.
Harrison is a graduate of the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire where he studied classical music, with a focus on brass, singing & conducting. Whilst studying for his degree he also enrolled on the TransActing course at Royal Central School of Speech & Drama, moving gradually into the theatre and acting industry.
As an actor Harrison has worked in theatre, TV and extensively as a voice actor. His credits include Eastenders (BBC), Silent Witness (BBC), Brass (Hackney Empire), Relativity (S1-3, BBCR4), Frankissstein, Sacred Country & Go The Way Your Blood Beats (Narrator for Audible).
Harrison is the Artistic Director and founder of Trans Voices Company. A platform dedicated to nurturing new and emerging trans talent, which may otherwise not have the opportunity to be seen. TVC has its own cabaret slot, for its musical theatre performers, at The Other Palace.
Harrison is currently a script consultant and dramaturg in the development of the new musical adaptation of The Danish Girl by Alex Parker & Katie Lam. As one half of Butler and Knights, Harrison with his writing partner is currently developing a new TV series, Play On.
