About Gudrun Soley Sigurdardottir
Gudrun Soley Sigurdardottir is an Icelandic performance artist, director and teaching artist based in Glasgow. Her work moves between solo performance, collaborations, directed projects and tutoring work.
Gudrun's performance practice questions authenticity, the rehearsed live moment and ideas around theatrical deconstruction. Concerned with time and space, her work is intentionally specific and scripted, whilst appearing responsive and in the moment. Most recently Gudrun has performed her work at The Tron, Battersea Arts Centre, Toynbee Studios, The Yard, BUZZCUT and Lahti Fringe Festival.
Alongside her work with Imaginate, she is currently working on multiple projects including directing Polmont Youth Theatre and The JukeBox at HMYOI Polmont and Platform Young Company.
