About Beth Morton
Beth Morton Beth is a director and theatre maker. Her work with National Theatre of Scotland includes Assistant Director and Community Co-ordinator for verbatim show Rites in 2014. She also led National Theatre of Scotland’s First Nights programme for 3 years during its inception. Recent theatre work as director includes her devised show (development) Meet The I (Dundee Rep / Rep Stripped) After The Cuts (Raw Material); Flames (Tricky Hat); Where The Crow Flies (In Motion); #Unplugged (Platform) and The Infernal Serpent, Turns of the Tide, For The Love of Chekov, After The Cuts (A Play, a Pie and a Pint). Beth was associate director on Eric The Elf’s Chaotic Christmas (MacRobert Arts Centre); Glasgow Girls (Pachamama); and Janis Joplin:Full Tilt (Theatre Royal Stratford East) and has worked with companies such as Tron Theatre, RSC and Manchester Royal Exchange. Beth is currently Resident Director at Mull Theatre and is an Associate Artist with Raw Material and the Beacon Arts Centre.
