The LGBTI+ Elders Social Dance Club Portrait Exhibition

NO LONGER GOING AHEAD AS PLANNED

Due to COVID-19, Scottish Government guidelines and our commitment to safeguarding audiences and those we work with, it is with great sadness that we announce The LGBTI+ Elders Social Dance Club Portrait Exhibition will no longer be going ahead as planned.

We would like to thank our partners, venues, funders, supporters and audiences for their continued generous support.

Our thoughts are with everyone who is struggling at this difficult time.

An exhibition of portraits and films featuring people who are part of The LGBTI+ Elders Social Dance Club, a monthly event in both Inverness and Glasgow, with pop-ups happening across the country.

The LGBTI+ Elders Social Dance Club is a welcoming space for the whole rainbow community to come together, share stories and meet new people across the country.

This exhibition features portraits and films created in collaboration with members of the dance club. Members were invited to have their photo taken in a place that means something to them, and their experience as an LGBTI+ person. The exhibition shows the first four in what will be a larger series, which will give us a sense of the varied, rich and remarkable lives of the many LGBTI+ elders living across Scotland.

No booking necessary.
