Engine Room Session with the Orkney Folk Festival

In homage to the infamous folk festival pub sessions of Stromness, the National Theatre of Scotland presents Engine Room Session in partnership with the Orkney Folk Festival.  An evening of new scratch performances, cross-art-form experiments, and bold open mic maneuvering where the line between performer and audience is blurred and everyone present is encouraged to share, respond and let the evening unfold.

Featuring cross-art-form experiments from the One Day to Play Initiative.

Scratch sharings of new work by local performance and theatre makers.

Open mic slots for anyone to share five minutes of story, song, poetry, performance or anything else that takes their fancy.
