Engine Room Roadtrip: Taking Your Play Forward

Engine Room in partnership with CABN, A Heart for Duns, Unit Four The Cornucopia Rooms and Eastgate Theatre and Arts Centre.

This workshop is aimed at playwrights with an existing play or idea that they would like to move forward. It will explore how to approach re-writes and re-drafts, how to identify what changes, what stays, and what has to go; as well as how best to listen to and make use of feedback. This session will also explore some broad principles behind a successful R&D process, and outlaying some of the avenues available to develop and realise your idea.

The workshop will be led by National Theatre of Scotland Dramaturg Rosie Kellagher and Engine Room Producer Anna Hodgart.
