Engine Room - Masterclass: The Art of Rewriting

“The first draft of anything is sh*t.” – Ernest Hemingway

Just getting the first draft of a play done can feel like a mammoth task and it can be hard to know where to start on the inevitable re-write.  So how do you approach it?  What changes, what stays and what has to go?  And how do you deal with listening to – and making use of – feedback?

A workshop for any playwright who has struggled with what to do with a play after draft one. Led by National Theatre of Scotland Dramaturg Rosie Kellagher.
