Engine Room Interruptions are in depth sessions designed to broaden an artists’ practice and experience, exposing them to new technologies, ideas and ways of working from across sectors, industries and cultures.

Futurist Mark Stevenson will lead the first Interruption session to explore what the future might look like based on current changes and evolutions in technology, economics, politics and society. Participants will explore what, in the face of this future, are the questions Scotland should be asking itself but isn’t – and how can this lead to some great art.
