DIASPORA is a National Theatre of Scotland project, in partnership with the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama and the Drama Training Network, that reaches out to international theatre practitioners and brings them to Scotland to share, discuss and demonstrate their practice in collaboration with Scottish artists.
Melina Seldes (Argentina), Shernaz Patel and Arghya Lahiri (India), Erik Norlin (Sweden), Kent Gash (USA) and Nadine George (UK) are among the internationally acclaimed artists who will be exploring their working methods at this year’s Diaspora.
The explorations are supported through a programme of workshops, sharings and talks. The majority of the Diaspora programme is for those working within the theatre industry, however this year there are two performances and a public discussion that are open to everyone.
