Engine Room Assembly: Creative Licht

With British Sign Language (BSL) now recognised as an official Scottish language, we find ourselves at an exciting junction, where we can collectively shape new artistic forms to make our work as inclusive of, and accessible to, more diverse artists and audiences.

Join Scotland’s BSL Performance Interpreters to share experience and learning about best practice for including and integrating them in your work, through discussion and practical testing.

This event marks the final session of a two year programme Creative Licht, a collaboration between National Theatre of Scotland, Birds of Paradise, Solar Bear and Sign Arts, that brings theatre makers and BSL Interpreters together to find creative solutions to future approaches to integration.

DATE: Sunday 18 May

TIME: 10.30am – 5.30pm

LOCATION: Rockvilla, National Theatre of Scotland, 125 Craighall Road, Glasgow, G4 9TL
