When: Sat 16 October, 2:30 - 4:00pm
Where: In person at the CCA and online, via Zoom.
What: Join a panel of neurodivergent artists as they share their creative practices, and engage in collective discussion on the potentialities of neuro-inclusive and neurodivergent-led futures in performance practice. We'll question:
- What would a performance sector without barriers for neurodivergent artists be like?
- What do our allies in the industry need to do now to make this a reality?
- How can neurodivergent performance practices and knowledges change the world for the better?
- How can neurodivergent performance challenge neuronormativity to bring us to new aesthetic potentials?
Each artist will offer a short provocation on their work to begin, before we move into a collective discussion from the panellists and close with opportunities from the audience to further open the dialogue with questions and responses.
Chaired by Leonie Rae Gasson
Panellists include Jo Hauge, Chanje Kunda and Dr Daniel Oliver.
