Nalini studied Drama at Bristol University and trained as an actor at The Bristol Old Vic Theatre School.

Theatre credits include: Safe Place/The Archivist (NTS/ Oran Mor), Flight (Vox Motus), Horizontal Collaboration/City of the Blind (Fire Exit), Aladdin (M.A Productions/Ayr Gaiety), Puellae (Frae Naewhere) (Traverse Live/Theatre Uncut (Traverse Theatre)), After Mary Rose (Magnetic North), Heer Ranjha (Ankur Productions) and Yellow Moon (TAG).

TV and Film credits include River City (BBC1), Justice for (LA productions/ BBC), Taggart (STV) and Hula (Braw Films).

Radio credits include: Puellae, A World Elsewhere and The Return (all for BBC Radio 4).
Writing credits include Puellae (Summerhall/ BBC R4), Finding Noor (Ankur/Citizens Theatre) and Kontomble (Oran Mor/ NTS). She was a participant in Channel 4 Scriptwriters 2015-16 and writer on River City 2015-2017.
