Are you looking to start a career in theatre and arts?
We are delighted to take part in the government funded Kickstart Scheme that helps to equip young people with the necessary skills and experience during these challenging times. We have introduced five entry level work placements, each supporting a key department at the National Theatre of Scotland. As part of your role, you will receive guidance and training, contribute to your team’s and larger organisational goals and build valuable knowledge of the industry and your chosen area of work. While work experience is advantageous, we are particularly interested in candidates who are enthusiastic, willing to learn and excited about the opportunity to work with us.
To find out more about different roles, see the links below:
To apply: contact your DWP work coach to be referred for the position. Once we receive your coach’s referral, you will then be asked to submit an application. We will not be able to consider applications sent by other routes.
The closing date for applications is Tuesday 1 March 2022.
Temporary positions, varied hours.
Based in Glasgow.
The National Theatre of Scotland acknowledges the need and right of everyone connected with the organisation to be treated with respect and dignity in an environment in which a diversity of backgrounds and experience is valued.
