Based in Glasgow
In these challenging times we are determined to continue our work with communities across Scotland and are pleased to be recruiting for a new role of Director of Creative Engagement, with an anticipated start date later in the year. This new role has arisen as part of a long-term review of our co-created work with communities. This role will be responsible, in consultation with the Artistic Director, for planning, developing and implementing the National Theatre of Scotland’s Creative Engagement Strategy, leading on all aspects of the Company’s Creative Engagement work, and ensuring that this area of work both serves and reflects contemporary Scotland as an integral part of our annual programme.
We are a theatre without walls and have imagination without limits. This is an opportunity to lead an exceptional, future-facing programme of co-created, community driven projects at a vital time.
We are looking for candidates who can demonstrate that they have the skills and abilities to meet the specification of this role and be a cultural leader in this key area of our work.
