Call Out for Casting Directors

Job Description

Closing date:
6 October 22

The National Theatre of Scotland is developing a new model for how we cast our annual programme of productions.

We would like to develop a pool of freelance Casting Directors, who are then individually assigned to shows. Each Casting Director will work alongside the director of the production with input from the National Theatre of Scotland’s Artistic Director and team of Associates.

Freelance Casting Directors will be supported by the new role of Casting Coordinator at National Theatre of Scotland.

The National Theatre of Scotland would love to hear from freelance Casting Directors based anywhere in the UK, with a strong knowledge of Scottish acting talent, who would like to be considered.

Please send your notes of interest including your up-to-date CV/portfolio to casting@nationaltheatrescotland.com marked CASTING DIRECTOR CALLOUT by 06 October 2022.

We will reply to all expressions of interest.
