An Tango mu dheireadh ann am Partaig

Le Alison Lang
Air a stiùireadh le Murireann Kelly
Performed in Gaelic with English surtitles.

Chaidh Last Tango in Partick / An Tango mu dheireadh ann am Partaig a thaghadh a’ leantainn air pròiseas tagraidh fhosgailte a chaidh a bhreithneachadh leis na com-pàirtichean Thèatar Nàiseanta na h-Alba, Pleidh Paidh is Pinnt, MG Alba, BBC Alba agus Bòrd na Gàidhlig,

Leis a’ chloinn air an dachaigh fhàgail, tha Moira an dòchas gum faod beagan abhcaid a bhith an dàn dhi fhèin agus do dh’Iain. Dh’fhaodadh nan cuireadh iad dìreach beagan tìde seachad a’ dèanamh nithean còmhla, gun dùisgeadh iad sradag air choreigin sa phòsadh aca. Tha Moira a’ cur roimhpe na brògan dannsaidh a dhustaigeadh agus nithean a bheothachadh le beagan draoidheachd an lùib dannsa Strictly. Ach chan eil cùisean a’ dol mar a bha dùil nuair a choinnicheas i ri Lachaidh. A bheil i a’ dannsa? A bheil esan a’ faighneachd? Feumar dithis airson tango.

Last Tango in Partick
Written by Alison Lang
Directed by Muireann Kelly
Performed in Gaelic with English surtitles.

Presented by National Theatre of Scotland and A Play, A Pie and A Pint, in association with MG Alba and BBC Alba supported by Bòrd na Gàidhlig.

Now that the kids have flown the nest, Moira and Iain can finally have some fun and try new things, and she’s got her heart set on ballroom dancing. A taste of that of Strictly magic should liven things up, but Iain has two left feet and a whole lot of excuses for not trying.

But Moira's no wallflower, and when she pairs up with Lachaidh she's thrilled by the music, the rhythm, the romance... It’s enough to sweep a girl off her feet. Is she dancing? Is he asking? Because as everyone knows, it takes two to tango.
