Inspired by the real life Glasgow Girls and by the musical based on their campaign, TAKE A STAND offers support packages to groups of young people, living in and around Glasgow, aged 13-15, to take action for a cause, to make a positive change in society through creative campaigning.

Reasons to Dance, was a major arts project in Falkirk exploring why people dance, their memories of dancing and traditions associated with going out dancing. Reasons to Dance took place from September 2011 and culminated in a large scale performance in the town in March 2012.

Truant, a provocative new piece of theatre set in, and inspired by, the people of Glasgow which explores family values, the challenges of modern parenting and the place of children in society.

Following the success of the sponsorship of Transform, ScottishPower continued its commitment to the National Theatre of Scotland by undertaking sponsorship of three large-scale community projects across Scotland.  

The first of these 99...100, was a major community and education project which took place throughout Fife between March and November 2010, the largest undertaking by the National Theatre of Scotland to date.

Transform reached and engaged pupils and community members in creative and practical tasks that not only supported the Curriculum for Excellence but also gave genuine hands-on experience in all aspects of creating theatre. Transform projects were completed with schools and communities in Doon Valley, Ardrossan, Methil, Arran, South Lanarkshire, East Lothian, Kilmarnock, Inverclyde, Dumfries, Fife, East Renfrew, Elgin, Orkney, Thurso, Glasgow and Aberdeen producing diverse and innovative pieces of theatre.
