Job Title: Head of Stage
Responsible to: Technical Director
Location: National Theatre of Scotland offices in Glasgow, but will be expected to attend rehearsals, events, performances and meetings as necessary.
Annual salary: £28,563

The National Theatre of Scotland is seeking to appoint a Head of Stage as part of the Technical Department.

They will be responsible for a range of areas, including scenery, staging and rigging, and will ensure that all National Theatre of Scotland productions are delivered to the highest standard.

Working across the full range of National Theatre of Scotland activities, the successful candidate will be expected to control budgets, manage equipment and company resources, provide support and information in advance to future projects and continued support to previous projects.

The post requires an active involvement in the setting up of shows including fit-ups, technical rehearsals and get-outs in venues across Scotland and further afield. As a result, the Head of Stage will be asked to spend some time away from home.
