This is a staged exhibition of sculptures created from ideas of gender in mythology, famous artworks and also popular culture. An androgynous tour guide/ curator/ ring leader takes the audience around these sculptures, relating the history of each through a mixture of fact and fiction that confronts and playfully explores these different genres of gender.

The sculptures are live actors combined with a collage of different materials and found objects. As the five minute journey progresses, the sculptures come to life. The exhibition is circus-like, flamboyant, surreal, where past and present representations of gender can be considered in a new light.
